Vinicius' achievement comes shortly after narrowly missing out on the Ballon d’Or in October, which was awarded to Manchester City midfielder Rodri. Nonetheless, the Brazilian's stats this season speak volumes about his impact on the pitch as in just 20 appearances across all competitions, the forward has registered an impressive tally of 13 goals and nine assists.
The accolades might not stop here for Vinícius. Real Madrid are gearing up for the Intercontinental Cup final, where they will face Mexican club Pachuca in Qatar on Wednesday.
